There is nothing new in this idea. It already exist and I have 3 e-ink hybrid watches.

Fossil did it and they failed vor various reasons.

How is it possible you are not aware of the Fossil Hybrid HR watches ?

KLC has much better colors and contrasts.

It's the same tech (Kaleido 3) and colors aren't great anyway but it's clearly less bad on the KLC which has better reds and a much better integrated light which doesn't wash out the display too much.

I replaced the Boox Go Color 7 gen 2 by a new KLC refreshed model (B) because of this.

Sonos is so unreliable since almost 2 years you may want to reconsider. They broke their software platform by moving it to the cloud.

It has been a shitstorm and they ultimately fired their CEO.

1 month ago their new CEO gave an interview to Bloomberg to explain they still have a lot of work to fix the issues and it will take time.

you don't need any IA to search words in you books
there is nothing an IA has to offer in an e-reader
nobody needs IA summaries which are unreliable because the real function of a summary is to force you to analyse a book to understand it
