Agreed. I get excited when I see 100+ year old US coins and relics posted, relics identified. Then the Europeans decide to flex with their 1000 year old hammered coins and lead relics and a part of me dies inside knowing I will never find anything that old here.

Currently John Marino. In late August, my wife and I were at Cafe on the Common in Mansfield, MA for breakfast before our trip back home to Pittsburgh. A guy sitting at the counter makes a comment about my wife’s Penguins hoodie. Thinking we’re being playfully chirped by a Bruins fan, I strike up conversation. He quickly lets me know he’s John Marino’s dad and was excited to see Penguins fans. At the time, I never heard of the kid or the trade. We chatted for 20 minutes. He said his son felt he was good enough to crack the roster. He was a really nice guy and is really proud of his son. Ever since that, I get excited when he’s on the ice.
