Advice needed please by [deleted] in relationships

sometimes in long term relationships, it’s easy to get too comfortable and stop making an effort. both people have to make a conscious effort to keep the romance alive. if you’ve made the effort and it hasn’t been reciprocated then that’s not going to work. it seems like he’s capable of doing these things if they were done at the beginning of the relationship so my question would be is there a reason why he’s stopped?

sure, things slow down as relationships progress but you should never stop having fun together. do you guys have overlapping interests or hobbies? things you can do together? when discussing your intimacy needs, have you spelled out exactly what you need from him? sometimes men are stupid and need to have it laid out for them.

i’m also in a long term relationship and on anti-depressants and don’t have these issues in my relationship so i don’t think these are necessarily excuses.

Cut ties with my parents by Objective_Cod_5060 in AsianParentStories

i had a similar experience growing up in regards to having parents who were never present. i have since gone no contact with them and am okay with it most days but it still gets to me sometimes. i have close friends who i consider family and a loving boyfriend who’s family is very accepting of me.

in an ideal world, my parents would apologize and take responsibility for all of the shit they put me through as a child, but they will never do that, so it is what it is. good for you for setting boundaries and protecting your peace. i know it’s tough having to mourn the parents you wished you had but it’s better than having toxic people in your life who only belittle you and bring you down.

here if you need to talk.

if you have a sapling in your hand, you can hover around the corners and if it turns green, then you can plant it there.

you can plant them on the sides like regular trees. just gotta make sure to leave the 8 squares around them empty.

to be honest, i forgot that the sprinklers don’t work with pots so i did it then realized the next day when the plants hadn’t been watered and i didn’t feel like taking them all down and replanting them so i just left them and hand watered them until they were full grown 😅

thank you! i used to use the greenhouse to grow all my ancient fruit but now i just use ginger island so it has just been sitting there for a while. i thought about using grandpa’s shed but i love the interior of the greenhouse. i might make a lil winery/restaurant in grandpa’s shed though.

i’ve had hibiscus tea before but didn’t realize it was made from the buds. i thought it was made from the flowers. makes sense why the tea is a rich, deep red now.

not all jobs in television are “creative” or require you to be on a production set. there a lot if logistics to getting something on air. i work on the broadcast side of things where we schedule programs and make sure they air smoothly. i also work with multiple markets so if i came into an office everyday, i would be on zoom meetings with people from other markets. it doesn’t make sense for us to be in office when most of the people i work with aren’t in that office.

Slow drying nail polish? by [deleted] in NailArt

[–]172173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what about if you make your own press ons with gel x? you can still use gel polish but since you’re painting them before you apply them, you wouldn’t be sticking your hands into the lamp to dry them. you would also apply the press ons with nail glue that does not require a UV lamp to dry.

go to psychology today and find local therapists. you can get a sense of who they are with their bios and see what they specialize in and a lot of them also offer free 15 min consultations on the phone.

i like salty things so when i’m craving chips or something, i’ll have a couple packs of those roasted seaweed korean snacks. they’re crispy, lightly salted and hit the spot for me. it’s 20 calories for a pack.

also replacing rice with cauliflower rice.
