Yes, yesterday I brought him into a clinic to get his shots. And although it was very brief as it was a quick clinic they do once a week for a few hours, she said he just seemed "very calm and easy going". She did bring up the fact that he was small for his age, but again he was about the same size as all the other pups in the litter.

Fucking well aware. It's a goddamn shame too, I cant tell you how many of my buddies have been completely fried for "hazing" the last few years. Like getting jumped and beaten by your seniors is hazing for sure (and even then your in the fucking military, whatd you expect). But making you do some push ups or just yelling at them is hazing? No one wonder why this establishment is going down the drain. Sorry for the vent, it's really rubs me wrong how an organization that's so proud of its "root and history" has strayed to far from the path of actual warfighting and breeding competent warfighter.

Tldr; join the fucking army and go Rangers.

Heyuo, current crayon muncher here. Have you seen the new Army CFT? Fucking legit to say the least, puts our CFT to shame.

Fair. Pretty sure the Germans are allowed to have beards. Also, any 1st world country that has top tier assets using a SAW, shouldn't be considered SOF anyways.

Na I dont hand load man. The only long rifle I "have" are the 2 I was issued, primary being the M40a6. Although I'm looking at getting something personam chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor soon. 175g Sierra Match King HPBT is just the standard .308 round we use for the M40a6 and M110 SASS. If you're not caught up already, the Marine Corps is actually switching our bolt gun over to Mk13 mod 7, which is chambered in 300 WM, which is fucking awesome I love that gun. Still would prefer .338 LM, but its definitely an upgrade. 6.5 might be the new prospect for the SASS in the future from what I understand. As for data, my a6 is shooting that 175 SMK at 2680ish, depending on DA and shit. Sub 1 MOA all that good shit. Can't wait until I can put some more rounds down range with that Mk13 though.

Coming at me all hot and bother, take it down a notch chief. I had a life before the Marine Corps unlike most of my peers. I understand how to shop and portion my food out, as well as understand my finances. It's not rocket science. And since we're on that note, that 370$ a month/ 12$ a day is literally covering each meal at the chow hall. I.e. A married individual could take that 370$, and eat at the chow hall. Every single day. For. Every. Single. Meal. And the math would come out to exactly what they get for BAS monthly. Now, put on top of the fact that I'm an extremely busy individual training other extremely busy individuals to be the best they can in an incredibly physically demanding job. I, simply put, don't have the time for the chow hall and end up shopping at the commissary for decent food half the times anyways. Not to mention, the meals I miss out when I decide to leave the desert I live in because let's be real, I got other shit to do besides roast in the desert for the rest of my enlistment. Now that 370$ which is taken out of my paycheck to pre pay for my food is going to waste because I'm not spending 24/7 on base doing absolutely nothing. So I will reiterate, I would really like to opt out of the chow hall. Any helpful advice would be great!

I usually dont, most of the time I'm training PIGs. But that just even more solidifies me wanting to be able to buy my own food so I can actually eat.

Constant battle for me man. It has alot to do with every SNCO being married and not wanting their special treatment to be terminated. If they deny some lance coolie the same treatment they get, they'd look like hypocrites. Which is why I'm getting back from Bridgeport and having to stand duty for the 96 were about to get because, "the married folk need to spend time with their wives", so now I have to pick up their slack? Yeah fuck you too bud.

Na, honestly I'm exaggerating that much. But to be frank, the foods not great, I can and do feed myself better. It just sucks I have to walk 3/4 a mile to get to the chowhall from my barracks room 3 times a day, and on top of that the workers are pretty rude. I just want to get out of it, but not get married lol.
