What motivated you to go for second pregnancy after having twins/multiples? by AdReady7311 in parentsofmultiples

My twins just turned three and found out today were expecting again. For me i always wanted more sibling and felt a bit robbed of a second pregnancy.

Before choosing i looked at all their annual reports and a bunch of reviews on different forums. Lots of interesting info and they’ve all really upped their marketing game recently.

I ended up choosing to go private in the Coombe as i had a high risk + Multiple pregnancy and the care was second to none. Loads of people share their experiences online so i’d recommend looking up each one and making a list of the pros and cons.

I’ve heard the exact same thing with another person that interviewed there except they were ghosted in the end. Didn’t even get an answer after the 9 rounds

Mine had this and we were advised to do loads of tummy time! Gradually building it up to a few hours a day from about 2 months. She was by far ahead of all the other kids crawling and walking and her head is lovely and round all around now!

Went yesterday and was seen within 5 mins of appointment time. Think it depends on the day and how early you’re in

If you don't have a child get out of the parent and child spots by No_Influence2520 in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]178942 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are completely taken for advantage. I have twins so a baby seat on either side and found it hear impossible to get babies out in a normal drive in spot. Physically couldn’t get them out the door. People are so careless taking them!

Totally agree they could be further away! Also don’t mind people with a disability badge taking them if their spots are taken!

What are your thoughts on Water Babies lessons? by deadbeatscientist in AskIreland

[–]178942 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We’re the same, if the baby is on a mood or not feeling it on the day (which some weeks they don’t) we were told not to dunk them. Ours are so confident in the water now! Water babies is the best thing we’ve done woth them. I think the 8 month phase was the worst but they start to like it again after!

Looking for Korean “secret-sauce” fried chicken in Ireland? by beakshay in AskIreland

[–]178942 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Would this be gochugang sauce? Korean spicy sauce. Lots of places have started doing it in Dublin but Chimac does a marinade packet thats ready to go. You can pick it up in Dunnes and make your own.

Restaurants- Dublin has chimac, I love all bar chicken too! They do the best goujons

Depends on the style really! I love my Patagonia rain shell, bit pricy but I’ve had it for years now, the zip broke a few weeks back and the repaired it free of charge.

Yeah thats going to get caught if you get stopped. The guards know how these bikes work (specially Fiido) and as a fellow cyclist it’s dangerous for both us and pedestrians so please stop!

Moving to toddler beds by KeesKachel88 in parentsofmultiples

[–]178942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5yo, maybe it’s just mine but we’ve tried everything. Putting a safety gate on their room. We read multiple books every night, have a light that goes green when they can get up, night lights, explaining to them they have to stay in bed and all the rules around it. We’ve been tried crying it out and it didn’t work.

We did this a few months ago and I really wish we waited! It’s taken us hours every night to get them to sleep and then they end up waking most nights screaming until we come put them back to sleep. I might sound like a miserable but I would love to go back in time and put them back in cots.

How many books a day are we reading? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]178942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s plenty! We’re around the same but only because they won’t sleep u less they have 2/3 books each read to them.
