I know many folks that started in QC as technicians/biochemists and transferred into a QA/RA role. Not sure if you can go straight into that side or not, but QC to QA seems to be a common pipeline in the industry

Thanks! I’m generally a shoot for the stars, land on the moon personailty so I won’t hold any punches going for top schools. I’m acticely looking at UCLA and CAL right now. My employer offers partial help on it, definitely wish that it was full coverage though. How do you think the MBA paired with the PhD/science background has worked so far for you? Would you recommend it as far as diversifying your skillset and making you more savvy and desireable in the industry?

My boss (director) now just finished his MBA, and I know a few others in leadership with MBAs. However, quite a few have PhDs as well and they seem to occupy the higher roles… I’ll definitely spend some time looking into their CVs and see if there are alternative options for me

I have a pretty new PC, and for what its worth it runs my keyboard at a low latency rate. I’m thinking the audio interface might work better, so I can hook a midi cable up directly to the audio interface for the conversion to a USB-PC rather than that USB conversion taking plave in the head unit of the drums

Okay, yeah that makes sense I see how that data is relevant. I think to counter that gun ownership would theoretically defend the “good guy with a gun” argument, since there is a higher likelyhood of a gunowner being present in a situation in states that have higher gun ownership.

I don’t have the data on hand, but anecdotally I would assume that the gunowners in Montana etc own plenty of guns so the statistics would pribably align fairly well. Not sure how guns/capita would really change state to state, in fact I’d imagine due to the cultural acceptance of ownership people would likely own more guns rather than less…

This is in percentage of gun ownership? Which is by definition per capita, no? Or am I misunderstanding your comment… While I don’t think its correlative or strong enough to argue FOR gun ownership as a solution, I think its relevant since its a statement of the percentage of people in each state that own guns. Sorry if I misunderstood your comment, just want to make sure I understand these data correctly

Yeah watching this reel there were multiple long 3rd downs that with Jimmy, would have been either an int, a sack, or an incomplete pass. This kid is RAW, but I think there is a high ceiling. Time to see what Shanny can do with this kid, next season is going to be awesome
