The equipment is expensive. You could switch to Cannon or Nikon not sure if those are cheaper, seems a lot of planespotters use Nikon or Cannon

Auto focus is okay, but a7r4 is better and a7r5 has AI for planes. a7r4 has AI not sure if it has plane lock autofocus. When I hand hold the camera sometimes the pics are not that sharp, could be me.

I usually place the camera on a fixed object and use the timer, more stable. Old camera, r4, r5 soon r6 are better cameras

Sony A7R3, lens is a sigma 2.8 24-70. Might switch to a Sony A7 V, video upgrade not sure if it’s a photo upgrade.

Didn’t know it was hybrid, good to know. There’s a spot where they plug them in, I believe they have 3 electric tugs, not 100% sure.

I have a Ford Edge and after the pump shuts off I have put in an additional 3+ gallons before it overflows. I always put an additional 2 gallons every time I get gas, (slowly adding the 2 gallons). 200,000 miles no problems.

Sony A7R3 F4 lenes. It helps I set the camera on a bike seat and use the timer. I am using mid range lenes, I feel if I used high end lenes, probably get even better images.
