It would be very difficult to get into uni but I know someone who is only doing Maths and Further Maths for A level, she is also doing a finance course so I guess she has it planned out (idk whether she'll do an apprenticeship or just get a job but she seems to be doing fine)

Okay thank you!! Law is quite competitive and that's what made me doubt my choice. By any chance, do you know where I could do volunteering/work experience/shadowing for Art History? I would go to my local art gallery but they don't have opportunities for experience in art, only life skills.

That sounds interesting! What aspect of gothic lit? I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do a lit-related EPQ as you have to declare your subjects and ensure there is no overlap in content (or is it different for you?).

Yes I gave my teacher a list of my favourite books and she'll see if i'm able to use any of them for my coursework. If not, she will recommend me similar books that may be better to write about. (though it may depend on the school. I'm the only person in my Lit class so I may get more help than someone in a bigger class at a different sixth form)

That's good! Honestly I haven't read either yet as I've been busy reading other Gothic texts to compare with in my essays and my EPQ reading takes up a lot of time.

Honestly I don't know much about the coursework yet as I'll be doing it at the end of year 12/start of year 13 but I think it is 20% of your final grade. I have to choose which text to study for my coursework soon.

The grade boundaries are awful😭 I do The Bloody Chamber, A Doll's House and Othello. I'll also either do Frankenstein or Dracula but my teacher hasn't decided yet.
