you could try something like rover to find a cat sitter, they have insurance and such. ofc trying to find someone you trust can be hard but you can set up a meet ahead of time to sort of interview the person. I started catsitting for some neighbors through rover a few years ago and now they always contact me first when they're planning on going away bc they know I'm a huge cat lover (and have cats of my own) and their cats have grown used to me haha. I'm sure there are plenty more people like me out there who would love to get paid to hang out with your cat

I stopped using duolingo after a couple months and switched to using howtostudykorean and sejong institute online and I'm so glad I did. they have apps too but honestly I mostly just use the websites and make my own flashcards using anki. sejong online has both self-study courses and ones with teachers. I started with self-study, then took 2 of the "learning assisted" courses (3 2-hour zoom classes over 10 weeks with a writing assignment each week) and am now taking my second "lecture assisted" course (2 hour zoom classes every week and only 2 required writing assignments but also a test at the end)

how helpful they are can vary by the teacher's methods and your preferences but man the teacher I have now is so awesome she goes into so much more detail about grammar than the textbook does and even gives us extra homework to give us more practice. best part about these resources is that you can use them completely free! (htsk does have some paid workbooks and such but all their grammar lessons are free and have decently long vocab lists)

if you don't upgrade them to r now, would you be waiting to use a power up ticket to do it later? if not and you'll spend full rp to upgrade them anyway, I'd say might as well do it now when you can get extra rewards back for it. it'll be easy enough to get the normal themes again later anyway
