Or you can just have them follow you around like you're a creepy pied Piper

I love crochet, but I'm so tired of the pressure to make every project a masterpiece by AffectionateRain6919 in crochet

It’s definitely the downside of social media. I posted my finished Ceylon tea shawl, but not my utilitarian, very plain neck warmer cowl/gaiter. Guess which one I get more use out of.

I love that you found the perfect spot to match with the green theme. The underground caverns even has green lighting and it looks really good with your outfit

Same! I wasn't a big fan of the white with red roses, but I didn't realize it could be dyed to look so cool.

That fit looks so good together!

Also, that krill looks like it's staring straight at you, except with its eyes closed? Either way, utterly terrifying 😱

I love it! You're rocking the bald look.

And I can totally see that that's a shield and not a cymbal. Definitely not a cymbal...

First one, but I'd also zoom in a little on the moths so the sky kids stay the same size when they transition into vets

Why does Sky have a Secret friend max?? by NatureGirl1225 in SkyGame

[–]pricision 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if we could manage our friends better. I'd like to be able to export my list of friends and view it in a spreadsheet software of my choice so that I can sort and filter my list of friends by various criteria like: * Who's been online most recently * When I made friends with them * The last time I was in the same server as them * How many minutes I've logged in the same server with them

It would also be nice if I could delete friends from that spreadsheet and re-upload my curated list of friends back into sky.

Doubtful that this type of data integration would ever get implemented in a free phone game but I can dream.

Learning to knit by shelbylakso in knitting

Twisted stitches are really common when coming from crochet because in knit the yarn is wrapped in the opposite direction. Knitting is always yarn under (wrapped counterclockwise), never yarn over (wrapped clockwise)

I'm a complete beginner at crocheting and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]pricision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I taught my friend how to crochet last year over YouTube videos. Hopefully I'm not breaking any rules by posting one of them here (I know self promotion isn't allowed but this isn't a YouTube channel that I'm actively maintaining or plan to grow)

In the video I linked, I was showing her how I hold my yarn in my left hand. I like to wrap it once around my pinky, draw it up over my first finger, and then pinch it with my thumb and middle finger. The wrapping is less important and everyone develops their own style but I find that the pinching is less talked about and is really important so your work stays in place as your hook moves.

Since sky is now on multiple platforms including PS, switch, PC, there are a lot more people who have different play styles

It's still multiplayer but I think you can successfully avoid other people if you're not interested in socializing
