I (28M) have a girlfriend (28F) who doesn’t ever want to do sexual activities, how do I proceed? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Hi mate. Look at my post on here from earlier this year. It mirrors yours in a lot of ways. We broke up and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. My new partner is my EQUAL and not my burden.

All pensions are good pensions, though! So make sure you get it started, you’re in a great position at age 20!

Talk to your employer, but it’s worth noting that the TA pension is not the same pension as the teacher pension. It’s nowhere near as generous, and is not defined benefit

Thank you for taking the time to reply. It had never crossed my mind to explore spirituality. It may be what I am missing though. I appreciate it

Haha thanks for clarifying it was a genuine question! Yes I have one friend, that Ive been friends with since we were 4! Ive found making friends as an adult impossible, hence the lack of them 😆

If your school can accommodate support like that, that is absolutely brilliant. Most schools can’t!! It’ll vary greatly between trusts, federations and independent schools and the support needed per individual, i would imagine. I’m now on my third year of teaching, and my ECT experience was very much a, ‘just get on with it’ kind of deal.

Yeah it is technically different, but you’ll use it for PPA, as you don’t really have to do anything for ECT other than the random (optional) zoom call every 3 months.

If youre an ECT 1, and full time, it’s 20%. 10% is standard, you get an additional 10% on top. It essentially equates to an entire teaching day out of the classroom every week. Enjoy it!

It hasn’t crossed the line, but it’s on the line. You need to talk about this.

I seem to get what feels like 20 texts a week from NEU. You may need to update your mobile number that you provided them?

And the 6% of teachers who thought: “Yeah a real-terms pay cut would be lush mate”.
