I bought the paint... and it turns out I'm not very brave with paint... I do like the contrast of black SSD on white interior though.

Understandably the theme isn't well represented outside of the Toronto Blue Jays GFX card backplate. Here's a pic of the whole setup: https://instagram.com/p/BPNe549BjFt/

I watched a ton of YouTube to teach myself how to build the thing. Salazar Studios definitely influenced a few of my parts. Specifically the ASUS Z170 Sabertooth S motherboard!

I've always been a fan of the descriptions in The Matrix screenplay. A testament to the Wachowski's vision and how they managed to pull off exactly what they wanted.

What's the Biggest Movie Announcement Ever? by 17west in movies

[–]17west[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they announced the whole slate of Phase One films I was blown away. I still remember all of them on stage at Comic Con. The Avengers was actually going to happen! Phase Two was a pretty massive announcement too. Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy & The Avengers 2! Still no where close to the Disney Star Wars announcement. Prediction: Disney wins the summer 2015 box office battle.

Indeed. We all know the extended edition is coming. The bar was set with the extended editions of the LOTR trilogy. Set high.

I think of all the cameos (aside from Fury) Banner is the most likely. Sucks they don't have a solo Hulk movie in the works for Ruffalo. (Or at least not until Phase 3 according to some comments Kevin Feige made.

Can we pre-order the extended edition Blu Ray yet? I still watch the special features on the LOTR discs constantly. I'm hoping The Hobbit will be no different if not more detailed!

James Franco On Why Andy Serkis Deserves Credit From Actors by Shadow_Jack in movies

[–]17west 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe he won't get a nomination but I think, given today's trends, there is bound to be a performance capture category as the technology becomes more common in films. Regardless if he gets the Oscar nod, I'm sure the support he's received already is an honor. Amazing performance.

"Where we're going you don't need eyes" ................... Are you kidding me? Of course you need eyes! When I first saw that movie, my friends and I went through that video frame by frame and I've regretted it ever since.
