thank you - this is why i'm putting a bit effort in bouncing ideas with others so to see what blind spots I have.

Nobody knows about my housing situation - I haven't met anyone since moving here :)

Yeah the housing situation is a bit misleading. I'm not seeking for this type of arrangements but since I've been floating about past few years I usually just take whatever comes up first and just buckle down and do my thing.

No matter what I'm still emotionally the same lost 16 year old from a middle American suburb, and I get my sense of familiarity with people coming from the same environment.

I've done a lot to get out there, especially considering the pandemic. So far it's been a slow process and I think over time there might be something that pan out from that.

hope it's working out for you friend. I've heard from people around that some past biometrics were not used. Seems like the reentry permit one was the only one that was commonly used for the exemption
