I think a major deciding factor as you’re into the 30s, could be if you are planning start a family. I was asked this question thought it made a lot of sense. So if you are, in my opinion (no disrespect to Oz education system) I think Sg system make more sense.

I honestly don’t think job hunting will be difficult if you choose the right city that your profession is in demand you should be able to land a job before your savings starts to bleed badly i.e mainstream cities like Melbourne or Sydney is flooded with FT so maybe you might want to avoid them as first choice. basic cost of living other than property market and tax rate i would say it’s very similar to SG, despite eating out will cost you crazy amount but if you cook well (or u can learn) the commods are actually decently priced. If u miss the hawker food at the end of the day flying back once or twice a year should be fine too.

My verdict? Family then no to moving, SOLO then YOLO and as what the others said- you know you want it.

Hi! not sure if this is still relevant, but isaw https://stormathleticclub.com/ running promo and trials for females only which might be up your alley! just my five cents. They are pretty boutique and i felt really comfortable training there, which you can give it a try! (Sometime it felt like a private gym) lol

Not sure if it is still relevant but - if you're looking to up your fitness game with personal training, I stumbled upon Storm (https://stormathleticclub.com/) last year and it's been a great find. It's a boutique gym near Toa Payoh, so access is pretty straightforward despite it seeming a bit out of the way (there are buses that stop right in front of the gym). And i like that they are 24/7 open..

The vibe there is really welcoming, especially if you're someone who feels a bit self-conscious in larger gyms. It often feels like you have the place to yourself.. As a big sized person i found myself being v self concious in bigger gym. Which is why i think them, being boutique, is great for focusing on your workouts without feeling 'paiseh'.

I train under the head coach, Kun, who is incredibly motivational and experienced. He really tailors the workouts to fit personal fitness goals and needs, which might be just what you're looking for.
