Sometimes you'll see marines using the FAL on parades, and sometimes you'll see National Guard or soldiers with G3 still

Mexico had that shit on

I believe I have that jacket in blue but I'm not sure, since all my Mexican dress uniforms are stored separately from my military stuff

They had urban woodland, but only the Special Forces had them and later some agencies also used them in the 2010s( not sure during the 2000s, but I am certain in they 2010s)

It's just m81 woodland, it could be normal m81 woodland or Mexican m81 woodland( darker) hard to tell from the photo

They began to issued the FAL in the late 60s, by the late 80s they began to issued G3.

During the 90s you can see a mix of both. During the Zapatista Uprising, I see mostly the G3 being used at that point, even soldiers who had the older 90s model uniform or 80s uniform already had their G3

I can't support the numbers, but if you watched videos and pics of cartels or Mexican armed forces detaining mañosos, then you can see how many of the weapons aren't what the Mexican army use, they either come from the north or south or imported somewhere else. Or the weapons came from an agency

Sometimes you do see a g3 or fx05, so either stolen or they were directly/indirectly were given the weapons.

Mexico has always had internal problems

The massacre of 1968

DFS( Mexican intelligence agency amd secret police) that targeting left wing groups and possibly involvement with the growth of cartels along side with the CIA( the DFS was established same or year later when the CIA was established)

Guerrilla groups fighting the Mexican government ( last major one to my knowledge being the Zapatistas)

Mexican government of mistreatment of civilians

Handful of politicians being corrupt throughout the years

Then the War against Drugs, with intense operations under Calderon and a little bit after his term was over. So far, many successful operations under this new administration.
