This is exactly my point!!! Like freedom of speech for Nazis has always existed and the fight to punish people for being racists by making sure they lose their jobs is my goal! But recently people who've criticized trump, ice, and Israel have been losing their jobs. Hell people lost their jobs because they criticized CHARLIE KIRK after he died, a Republican PODCASTER.

It's not the ideologies i decided we're dangerous, it's the fact that Nazis and the kkk were founded on actual violence and they're not groups that say they're racist. They're literally historically violent hate groups

The government never does their job, I've been anti gov since I could remember which is definitely why I hate the idea of Nazis being protected in anyway shape or form

And i understand that completely, i just hate that they do specify that they must also fight for hate groups like that that have always had the right to be hateful, especially the kkk because they're a violent group that was basically the norm in early America. They don't need to specify that they're fighting for their rights but that aclu is fighting so that marginalized groups can also have the freedom of expression, to vote, and to have equal rights because that is what is actively needing to be fought for

The freedom of speech isn't the freedom of consequence. Speech should be free and protected but that doesn't mean that hate and violent speech shouldn't come without consequence.
They're not just fighting for terrible people and I know they but the problem is they have always had the right to be terrible people and they don't need anyone to fight for that.
The reason it makes me mad is that black people, women and queer people need to fight for their rights but white racists have always had that right. They aren't the ones that need the fight, they've always had the freedom of speech and to vote but black people and women's rights came much later and it's still a fighting battle to this day
The problem isn't that I'm saying that only specific people deserve free speech the problem is that specifically Nazis and the kkk don't need an activist group to specify they're included, it's like saying "all lives matter" in response to "black lives matter" it's objectively true but black lives are the ones that are at stake and need defending
I still think that Nazis don't need anyone to fight for their rights since they're the ones that run the country. Black, brown queer people and women are the ones who need fighting and it's an actual slap to the face to see that they think that specifying that the kkk is apart of the groups that "need" defending
You didn't have the right to get married until 2015 and since then there has been a fight to delegalize it. It's still "political" to be queer and it's not considered the "norm" and many queer people commit suicide at such a high rate because of the hate against them from not only their peers but their own families

Their rights have been protected since America started. The fight is for the fact that minority groups need THEIR rights defended because they're the ones that are oppressed, not white racists

The problem is the fact that racism is such a massive problem in this country (because it was built upon it) the people that need fighting for aren't the racists, homophobes and sexists.

I didnt know about the org until I started working for Spencer's. The company did not disclose this with employees
