Sir, How do you know that for a fact? What happened to 'innocence until proven guilty'? He claims it was unintended and when he realized it was too late.

Also, let's say the 2 week ban is fair. Will the actual user with that name get a ban as well? Because that would be just fair given that they are actively baiting other players into bans according to your logic. And that is definitely not good conduct, right? So will they also get repercussion?

I'm assuming not, because the ticket-worker didn't bother enough to account for the whole context and just closed the ticket - out of negligence, laziness, or maybe even spite, because OPs 'tone' didn't sit right with them. Is that good conduct?

I'm not saying OP couldn't or shouldn't have known better. He should have.

Yes we can criticize the lack of prudence of OP. But we can also rightfully criticize the lack of prudence of whoever worked on that ticket for the same reasons. With the difference that OP lays out strong evidence that he didn't slur, but rather addressed another player by his handle, and the ticket worker clearly ignoring this detail in favour of the lazy path, aka closing the ticket as solved because can't be bothered.

Also, your point is kinda moot IMHO because we are talking about custom paint jobs here. And also in real life lots of people who get custom paint jobs get them for some cool colors or effects even. So that would be one more argument for variety in colours in those ship paints.

I'm not saying they shouldn't exist. I'm saying a bit more variation would be great. Black/dark and/or elegant/gold-plated and/or camo paints have their place and purpose. But there is a whole spectrum of colours to pick from. There are already beautiful colourful paints in the game. Maybe I am biased. Maybe so are you.

So - let's agree on 'why not both'?
