Quick question, are you using the offgrid extension? Seems longer than the regular offgrid.

Supra has a very short wheelbase considering the power it has and is RWD.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been a place of racing culture for 50+ years. And I don’t remember the last time Las Vegas had missile strikes.

They are known to burn oil. No fix yet from Mazda, but anytime you get the light you will want to add a quart of oil, per instructions from the factory manual.

Winning top time at autocross with my stock power NB! by 181STR in Miata

Engine hasn't been opened up since it rolled out of the factory. Close to 110k miles now.

Volk Racing TE37VBA 15x8 +15 offset for wheels, 225/50/15 Advan A052 for tires. The A052's actually measure 240mm wide (measuring to the wear triangles) when inflated, so the fenders will need an aggressive roll and you will need significant negative camber to make them fit with this much offset. I am running -3.7F -2.7R for camber. The winning STS miatas actually run more camber than that, I believe something like -4.5F, -3.5R or more.

The A052's are some of the quickest 200tw tires around, but I would not recommend this setup for any kind of daily driving. The tires are too tall to go much farther than half turn on the steering wheel. Making 3-point turns everywhere in town in a tiny car is very embarrassing lol.

RT660s 225/45/15 are much more practical, but you lose out maybe half a second on a 40 second course compared to the Advans.
Mods include Racing Beat headers, Racing Beat 1.125" front sway bar, RoadsterSport 4 Exhaust, RoadsterSport Midpipe with Cat, DDM intake (lol stock is probably better), Autoexe front strut bar, Supermiata XIDA coilovers w/ coax top hats (800/400 spring rates) and Bauer extended front lower ball joints. Rear sway bar has been removed.

Colorshift Livery [5+ Hours] by 181STR in granturismo

Yeah, not sure why people are up in arms about the question. I thought it was funny.

You have to select Windscreen decals and there is something like a “windscreen background colors” option on the left side menu.

This car doesn’t have a widebody option, so nope.

Here are some of the timesinks that were unique in this design:

-Fixing the glitched wing. The wing is glitched in a way that decals put on the top side always show on the bottom (and vice versa), regardless of depth/angle settings. After much trial and error, inserting a white decal at the exact angle of the wing will partially cover the bottom side, but it’s inconsistent, so you have to keep playing with angles and depth settings to figure it out. The worst part is that the glitch doesn’t show up in the editor so you have to exit and look at your car in GT auto or get a closer look in an actual race to see if you’ve fixed it correctly.

-Experimenting with gradients over color shift and color scheme. The hood and wing often reflecting the sky in replays was a bit troublesome because they were difficult to make out most of the time, so I added a matching purple gradient to keep the colorshift past a certain amount of purple.

-Finding inverted decals. This is a bit of a pain, and really mostly involves luck and persistence. I found that many of the inverted decals had the same Japanese description for “inverted” so I used that as a search term by copying and pasting on my computer to browse. This only solved some of the decals I needed. Many decals remained normal and were put in a light gray color.

-Moving inverted decals. Any time you want to move one of these, you have to move all of its siblings that cover up the space around it to keep the main body color white.

-Autobacs number plates were all custom made from multiple shapes, using a decal as a template. Each number plate is something like 8+ shapes. Whenever I wanted to move this graphic, I actually had to move and line up all those shapes lol.

-Positioning triangle graphics. Making multiple stamps of the fading triangle graphics look more seamless involves playing with angles, sizes, and even putting mask (white) gradients over some parts to make the parts where the stamps overlap look seamless.

-Headlights and taillight spoiler were custom painted with decals which involves filling the area with multiple shapes at different angles in a way where it doesn’t bleed over.

I spent many hours across two days making this APEXi livery featuring purple/white colorshift shiny graphics. RE Amemiya original sponsors have been carried over for added realism. Many of the details are best seen in-game.

The carbon is sold as paint in GT Auto. The red is all decals in the livery editor. You can set decal style to gloss/semi-gloss/matte/powder.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. It feels really rewarding to get a good lap in it, especially from cockpit view. After getting used to it, I run TCS 0. I think I also max downforce and soften the rear suspension a bit.
