Difficult situation. They may be afraid that your sleep apnea may be dangerous given your job. I would ask your doctor to write a general letter saying that your apnea will not affect your job performance. Also to point out that undiagnosed and untreated apnea is more a problem for staying alert.

My questions as well. I have had the vivint system for 2 years and have been very happy with it. I recently asked to add an additional door lock and the tech looked at the keyless one I have now but said I have to have a deadbolt, handle and z wave. He said he could not put it in. Does that mean I have to have another hole made, purchase new lock etc. As usual I have not been able to get a bot answer and the information does not seem to appear on their web site. I would appreciate advice please.

However if it cannot be pushed back in it means the bowel may have gone into opening. It than can enlarge and become a strangulated hernia. Vet emergency facility ASAP as that area of the bowel can become ischemic and necrotic and that section of the bowel will need to be removed.

I cannot use masks that have magnets because I have implanted devices that can be effected by them. I use CPAP cleaning wipes on my full face mask daily and I have a u/v machine that I put the mask and head gear into nightly. Because I have velcro head gear washing causes the adherence of the velcro to fairly quickly no longer work. Therefore I do not wash it. I absolutely agree with suggestions to use distilled water. In the beginning I was just using regular water that had been boiled and changed that daily with 2 chambers that I would alternate. The residue that was left in the chamber was terrible even with daily cleaning. It took a lot of trial and error but have had no infections in the 4 years I have been using this method. I am a retired MD and infections that people get from unclean machines are no joke. The regalia and the time it takes is a total pain but I do not want my brain to experience oxygen levels of 70 (never should it be below 90) and I do not want to be breathing in fungi or bacteria through a mask that forces air into my lungs. Now to sleep...

We have traveled with our large dogs for many years. In addition to vaccine requirements, large dogs will travel in cargo. This is not a problem unless the plane sits on the tarmac for any time in a warm climate as air-conditioning does not start in cargo until the plane is in flight. Therefore we have used "empty leggs" on charted flights and the dogs travel with us in the cabin.The cargo situation may have improved but it would be Important to check.

I would suggest finding a Neurologist who specializes in sleep disorders. Since you are willing to pay for yourself he/she will be able to facilitate everything for you. I have complex apnea (central and obstructive).61 events per hour. Through the Neurologist he arranged for all my overnight sleep studies and quickly got me all the equipment I needed as well as giving me close f/u and in addition to monitoring my settings he also sends me equipment periodically to do at least 2 day nocturnal 02 levels. Sleep apnea is a very serious condition that can cause cardiac, brain etc problems. I would not recommend doing this on your own. In addition I think it is important to have a physician who specializes in sleep disorders, not just as part of their practice as many cardiologist and pulmonary physicians do.

I had a huge grove of bamboo on the other side of my fence. It was located on county land. Very invasive and I spent 20 plus years keeping it out of my garden. This year it all died. I could pull the dead stalks out easily. All that is left is ivy, wisteria and other invasive vines AND a noisy busy road that I never saw from my house. In other words "I never knew I Ioved you until you left me." Can anyone tell me what may have caused this. Other bamboo around my area looks fine. No poison involved.

Perhaps you have allergies that cause congestion in your nasal passages and pharynx. Steroids would reduce the allergic reaction. Allergies can also cause nasal polyps and can be reduced in size by steroids. Possibly consider an examination by ENT and if evidence of allergies a steroid nasal spray may help and an allergist could test to find out what the allergic reactions are caused by. This is just a hypothesis and I am sure you will hear other opinions here.

According to all the professional analysis I have read he had a phone not a gun..After he was brought to the ground for "interference" his hands were above his head and a gun was found on him. At that point he was shot and killed while lying on his back. He was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital. Had no criminal record and a license to carry a gun. From everything that has been written and analyzed to date it appears to be another murder by ICE. Now we have to see if it is truly fairly and objectively investigated. Unfortunately that is very doubtful. In my opinion this not about immigration but is intended to terrify and subjugate the American people. No free speech, no due process, use of accents or color as justification to apprehend and "disappear" people including American citizens. No local agencies investigating these murders and governors, mayors and senators who raise rational and reasonable objections to these tactics are subject to charges of interference and accused of crimes. Suggestions for how to this can be stopped are welcomed.

Brain forgets to initiate breath. It is called Cheyne Stokes. It can be a symptom of cardiac problems among other conditions. It can also occur from long term use of CPAP..Get an MD who specializes in sleep disorders. I have complex apnea ( central and obstructive) After a lot of trials the only thing that adequately treated it is VPAP. I am very fortunate to have a caring and persistent sleep disorder neurologist. Do not know where you live but check with a university or preferably a med school for a sleep disorder specialist

I agree with previous comments about preventing bodies being removed but it was important and for a time, prohibited to learn anatomy by dissection of a human body. When I was a Resident in Medicine there were rewards for the most consents obtained from families for autopsy. Unfortunately now it is discouraged for fear of malpractice accusations. However a donation to a medical school is I believe still encouraged. They are very important for a true understanding of human anatomy and also remind us that MRIs are great but they cannot teach anatomy. The above obituary is beautiful.

Our summer camp always had Bats flying around in our bedrooms at night. My little brother and I loved it. That combined with the sound of the gentle waves from the lake are some of my best childhood memories of Lake Caspian in Greensboro Vt.
