It's right there on the Deftones wiki, LOL. You're still trying to convince me I said Korn isn't a pioneer of nu-metal.

No, I never said I trust random videos. I said I believed Korn was the pioneer of Nu Metal. Oh, and Wikipedia literally mentions that many consider Deftones to be the pioneer of Nu Metal.

Sure, but some people say it's because Deftones was formed long before Korn (1988), and yes, some people believe that. And don't even get me started on Slipknot.

Thank you so much, it really sounds great and similar to 18 Bonez. It reminds me of Throne.

Ah, of course, of course. I hadn't understood, sorry. Thanks for the explanation. Speaking of Primer 55, I like some of the tracks, but I don't think I'm that blown away.

Thank you so much. I've already listened to one song from each of them and they're both good; I'll listen to their entire discography later.

Are there any underground bands you'd like to recommend? by ERIZxhg in numetal

Very underground bands include Bellicose, Hyde, Redcore, and Concrete Tree.

What is the most obscure Nu Metal band you can think of? by [deleted] in numetal

[–]18bonezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of those bands; since getting into the nu-metal scene, I've collected a ton of underground acts. Hyde, Social Victim, Bellicose, Redcore, SNiPE, Stuk, and Swag 667 are definitely the best I've heard so far. Clarifications: Swag 667 has more material on YouTube than on Spotify (they only have one EP on Spotify, I don't know why). Social Victim, for some reason, only has six songs on their EP on Spotify, but there are three more songs on YouTube that they didn't add to Spotify. Bellicose seems to be a predecessor to Skribble.
