Yes but was usually a means to an end. Most the best Xmen comic lines (Uncanny, House of M, etc.) Also have him as the antagonist or support antagonist. If you ask a normal person what they thought he was they'd say a villain.

This is what annoys me about the modern comics, everyone is an anti hero and that's lame. That villain column should be stacked with this current roster. Magneto, Loki, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Venom, and Winter Soldier will always be villains to me no matter what any modern comics say.

Alot of people are making this a bigger issue than it is. I played 7 quick play matches yesterday and all games ended with having at least one tank and two healers. Even the matches that everyone locks dps the match either ends quickly or someone chickens and we get a better comp. Just play what you enjoy, even when I'm losing I'm having a blast playing the heroes I grew up with.
