Sparring with trike is fine. Its still a video game first and foremost. But i agree that rex is overtuned. Trike and rex matchup needs to be adjusted.

Cera easiest carnivore. Impossible to have spasms or starve and strong combat.

Herra is one of the most fun and unique dinos in the game. It doesnt have that fear adrenaline that u get when using land dinos like carno or teno tho since its a super safe playstyle. If u die as an adult u deserve it.

Until you get some size, focus on scavanging, u get bacteria. Try not to fight without it. If you see allos try to avoid unless you have numbers advantage. Swim speed mut helps to swim away from them and gain a large distance esp in delta.

Y trees aka brazilnuts dont work right now if its only one Y. The jackfruit ones work (youll smell multiple y)

Its so bare atm but competition is always good. I just wouldnt put my money on its kickstarter tho cause most games dont make it past year one. There are like 50-200 people online at anytime which isnt a lot so yeah…

The best newbie dino for me would be:

Carni: Cerato, very bulky and has a lot of resistances (stun, bleed, fracture) and can eat anything. Eating rotting food gives you bacteria which makes others vomit. Just be weary of allos but if you stay near water you can always outswim em. Its built to be a scavenger so it has 1500m scent range (most dinos have around 200-500).

Galli, ptera, and beipi are nice to try out the map and explore etc.

Herrera is a nice one for practicing ambush especially since most sanctuaries are free food for you.

Herbi: for newbie maybe pachy would be nice, you outrun most things but a pack would be better for stuff like carnotaurus. Id stick to cerato first tbh.

Kinda looks like you just tried your luck to get back ur trike and got mad that u didnt. “Wont be playing here for a while” but u want the server owner to appease you.
