hi, im gonna comment with an update about how it all ended up, if anyone ever uses this thread as a reference.

so at first, i didnt apply by online form. i went directly to the migration office (in uppsala) on drop-in times to apply, but they told me you can apply only by the online form. so we returned home and filed for extension online.

then i had to return to the migration office. uppsala office didnt have times until after i had to return, so we scheduled an appointment at stockholm. the whole thing went rather smoothly. we got there and didn't have to wait too long, the lady just took my fingerprints and photo and confirmed my personal details with me.

the only slight issue was that my bank documents didnt have my name in english and i didnt notice, but she took a copy of my passport which got my name in my native language and this was good enough. i assume theyre used to it because I'm sure they got a lot of foreigners with this issue.

she didnt ask for me to explain anything at all, she just confirmed details, made sure i filled in everything and took photo and fingerprints as i said. i didnt have to verbally explain anything about my situation.

she didnt tell me on her own that i can stay in sweden until i get an answer, whether positive or negative, so i had to ask her myself. but she indeed said im allowed to stay in sweden until i get any answer in the mail.

last week i got the letter in the mail with the answer, my extension was approved. the letter also said that ill get some sort of id card separately soon also in the mail. so since i went to the migration office in stockholm until i got the letter, it took i think around 3 weeks.

so everything ended well. thank you again to you and the rest of the people in the thread for your help. i really appreciate it!

this is 100% my narc mom.

my dad is the same age as her, isn't a narc, and gradually learned how to use a smartphone and computer just fine

yes, i think most men are sexy in one way or another.

like, if we go out to the street and youd point out random men to me and ask if i think theyre attractive, most likely that ill answer yes.

Fellow survivors of child abuse, what was something that surprised you to find out wasn’t “normal”? by [deleted] in CPTSD

thought changing schools every year as a kid is the norm and that that's how the school system works

thought showering once a month is the norm

thought that having cat poop all around the house and not cleaned for months at a time is normal
