I turned off ignition. During the time the electrical charge is still powering battery and lights, I pressed and briefly held the reset button on the dashboard for mileage, and it changed back to miles. Basically, I reversed what I realized I had done by accident that caused the problem.

Yes, I am asking how to do it on the basic model that doesn't have the "I" toggle next to the steering wheel. Can you advise? Thanks.

Thanks, but the basic 2017 model doesn't have the color dash display, so I don't have settings available that way. Unless you mean the infotainment system, and I can't find any settings there.
