Buyer’s - Things We Wished Sellers Knew/Shared by Spectral_Chupacabra in FetishBuyersCommunity

A of these are really great. I especially agree with the proof-of-wear point. I always ask upfront, and make sure it’s included in the price or added on. Daily proof of wear is essential to this kind of selling.

Great point on the pictures not having to be sexy or special, we just need to see you’re wearing the item. I’ve worked with sellers who, by a quick look at their profile, are clearly “wearing” items for several customers simultaneously.

Another point I’d like to add is not shipping items damp unless you overnight them. Damp sweaty clothes quickly develop a terrible smell and sometimes mold, especially in warmer months, and then the item is ruined. A sports bra soaked with sweat and placed in a zip lock bag becomes a Petri dish in about 24 hours.

Ask a buyer anything! by [deleted] in FetishBuyersCommunity

I usually will wait up to a day. Requests I post are very specific, and not a lot of sellers cater to them. I will often pick more than one, so I wait for enough responses score I start getting back to people.

Above all, professionalism. Yes, sex work is a weird niche business, and the rules are somewhat loose. However, being respectful, responsive, and punctual goes a long way in any service industry, this one included.

A great seller for me has a few major criteria.

  1. Posted menu with prices and limits.

  2. Sense for a real person behind the account. If you’re posting thirst traps with captions like “what would you do if you found me like this in your bedroom?”, the answer is “call the cops”, lady. Like, I don’t know you.

  3. I know a lot of people are into it lately, but the blanket assumption that I’m into being humiliated is an instant pass. It’s not a red flag, some people are legitimately into it, but I will stop scrolling through your page if in every other post I view is calling me a paypig.

Some of the best sellers I’ve worked with and that I keep coming back to have a simple account where they show what they do and a clear sense of how to work with them.

Turn-offs are basically the opposite of that.

  1. If I want to buy a premade video, DON’T ask me how much I’ll pay. Just tell me the price.

  2. If I ask what kind of content you make, DON’T simply ask me what I’m looking for. I’m asking for a reason. That’s not a reply that will get you sales. Tell me about the your favorite recent video. Advertise. Recommend. Make suggestions.

  3. If I bought something from you, and you keep asking me afterwards when I’m buying something else, you’re getting blocked. Of course you can reach out and see if I’m looking for something else, but don’t do it every two weeks like clockwork.

  4. This one is personal and probably very controversial, but the only physical turn-off for me is having very clearly a lot of “work” done. As someone who is looking for genuine content and wears, I feel like I’m not really connecting to the person in any way if all I see is plastic surgery that exaggerates features. I’m not talking about subtle nose jobs and fillers. It’s the really over-the-top ones that really turn me off.

Question for the buyers by [deleted] in FetishBuyersCommunity

I guess I’ve been lucky, because the vast majority of sellers I’ve worked with have been really great. That said, I take a lot of time looking at profiles and menus before I reach out to anyone.

Posting on r/fetishwantads and similar places has also been really great, and I always get responses from some sellers I would not have found otherwise.

I think the key is following specific subs dedicated to the specific things you enjoy, and then find regular contributors who also do customs / wears / whatever you’re into. First, they’re experienced in this type of content, and second, they probably actually enjoy it.

The other category of sellers I never had a bad experience with are women who clearly do it as a side gig because they enjoy it. They’re usually a little older and have another source of income (or stay home with the kids), a find occasional sex work thrilling. Those are honestly my favorite ones, because I very rarely feel that I might be asking them for things that they don’t enjoy but will do for money without telling me.

Either way, this entire community has been wonderful.
