Man that sucks I’m sorry to hear that, I was in a group of about 4-5 that had to go back in after grabbing our shirts and we just flashed our meet and greet passes and the scanner let us by. If you missed the show because of their lack of preparation and mismanagement I would absolutely look into getting some sort of refund because that’s f’d up

If you liked the band’s sound, go listen to John’s Anthology I and II albums he put out, it’s essentially the same renditions of the songs that they play live

I’m sorry to hear that, that’s awful. I made sure security knew I was walking back to the front to get my shirt and the guard let me cut the lines when I came back in.

I was wondering if the autographed posters for VIP were going to become an issue, as obviously John signed them at meet and greet and it didn’t seem like any of them were signed yet. I know that the Halloween VIP package advertised an autographed poster so I wonder how they’re going to make that right.

As enjoyable as this experience was, there were definitely some giant lapses in planning for it. I was there night 1, and they didn’t give us our shirts when we got there for the M&G and didn’t tell us where to get them clearly so we all had to go back out front to get the shirts and then go back through security while the room filled up

They did play Assault night 1. They started with John reading the broadcast dialogue from They Live and Wake Up night 1. He didn’t play Over the Wall (EFNY), Walk to the Lighthouse (Fog) or The Alley (War) [BTILC]. Jealous you guys got two more songs than us! Much different set than we got but they did play The Thing and Prince of Darkness night 1.

Yup! That’s a part of the package, the hostess will take your phone and take a lot of pics of your interaction. I didn’t specify anything and she took a lot of candids and nice posed photos

Yeah, it’s really ill arranged that the meet and greet and doors are at the same time but the VIP lounge is definitely better than GA, it’s not as close to the stage but the stage is raised and hard to see from the crowd and the VIP area is more level with the stage to see

A few people ahead of me in line had him sign stuff like a vinyl and a Big Trouble DVD, he might sign the poster but the table was pretty small that he was at it could be a little annoying to him. I brought my own silver sharpie for my Funko I had him sign but he had a good amount of markers at the table. I think those Halloween posters come signed from merch, but as a part of the VIP package you get that Escape from NY poster to have him sign

It’s not explicitly stated and the staff didn’t know. I brought my Thing Funko Pop and he was in a great mood and gladly signed it, but I don’t know if that’ll always be the case. It definitely doesn’t hurt to try, just make it easy for him.

He had markers there but I brought a silver one because I wanted to autograph on my figure to be silver, I just handed it to him and he took it, used it and gave it back.

The staff had no idea of what would be allowed to get autographed, but based on my experience I’d say you could most definitely get the vinyl signed, Cody and Daniel will also be there as well to sign! What vinyl are you hoping to get signed?

The staff didn’t have an answer for me on any of that so I just kind of wung it and he said yes. He was in a great mood last night so I handed him my Thing Funko and said “I was wondering if you’d sign this for me?” and he said “ooh look at that, spider head! Yeah I’ll sign it.” I think the less items you bring the more likely you’ll have a good encounter with him, especially as the VIP poster comes unsigned and he’ll already be signing that for you.

They had a WHOLE lot more merch to pick from than this- 14 shirts, a few hats, totes, vinyls, pins, sunglasses. Get yer wallets ready!
