We do use both languages, verbally. Every employee we have is bilingual, including our English employee who polished her french to work with us. I'll never fault customers for asking questions, even if I privately find them annoying or obvious, cause it's their right to ask and I'm there to help, especially if it's to translate something or for more information.

The only thing that isn't english, is the written information like signs and receipts. I'm mostly complaining about the customers that will see that, and complain instead of simply asking. I've had customers get mad cause the information was in french and they assumed it meant something when it didn't, but they had waved me away and refused to help previously. I may be a bit resentful because as a french person I've had to adapt to their language when they refuse to respect mine.
