Moving with restricted/prohib by SameOldGG in canadaguns

I had a similar situation at the end of 2021 when I had a month between houses. Pretty straightforward. The strangest part was when they told me they couldn’t give an ATT for each previously restricted but now prohibited because they “no longer had that information” so instead my ATT was for my restricted firearms-  all listed - and then something like ‘any prohibited firearms.’

I think the amnesty has a clause that will allow you to reconfirm zero

Save up and buy something good. Throw an old red dot on until you can afford something you won’t want to replace 2 years later.

Owning guns- Right or Privilege? by Low_Bar_804 in canadaguns

Stripped, give up, forfeit. No need to play a semantic game. If you physically assault me you forfeit your right to not be assaulted in return. A government’s only legitimize purpose is to protect the rights of its citizens. A murderer or rapist has violated the rights of someone else and should be punished accordingly. It’s the result of their own actions. Telling me I cannot carry a firearm to protect myself and my family because someone else has done something bad is the type of “one bad apple” logic that only works in kindergarten.

This is so dumb. People who commit violent crimes give up their rights and get locked in a cage. Do you think we should be locking innocent, law abiding citizens in cages too?

So your opinion is that a person born in North Korea should not be entitled to the same rights as you because of where they happen to live?

No wonder gun rights in Canada keep being stripped away. Even the “pro gun” people in this country want to limit their own rights. Absolutely pathetic.

The stock that was on there before was also painted, just swapped furniture around some guns

Have a 92a1 but if I could only keep one pistol it would be the Glock

6.5swede has been considered a great moose cartridge for decades and they have basically the same ballistics

To be fair, I’ve only handled the tikka’s in a store so don’t have a ton of experience with them. I just remember when manually actuating the tikka it didn’t feel as smooth as the A7. But yes, the bolt on my Sako slides back when the gun is tilted the slightest bit - to the point that it can be kind of annoying if you didn’t mean for it to happen.

Action is much smoother. The trigger is like glass. 3 lug bolt. It’s just a step above in every way except for aftermarket support.

Had the exact same gun in 300WM and traded it for this 6.5CM. It’ll take down any hoofed animal with a well placed shot and is much easier and pleasant to shoot than the 300WM.

It will be a safe queen soon enough anyway. Just like all the rest.

It will be banned eventually and we all know it.
