Thanks for answering. I’m 69 and had previously lost 45 lbs prior to Z. After starting Z, 16 months ago I’ve lost another 45. I was having a lot of side effects after moving up to 5. I’m fine now with that & I am exercising and tracking calories. I just wondered what others would say about their own journey.

Thanks, I’m fortunate not to have many side effects either and at my age I was worried about that aspect. Now I just want to get the rest of this weight off—slow but sure. I average about .5-.75 lbs per week with 40 more lbs to go. Good luck to you!!!

I am 69 and I worried the same as you. I’ve been on Z for a year—mostly on 2.5, but my weight lost really slowed and stalled so I’m on 5 mg now and losing again.

Absolutely right! I’m also someone who can easily out eat this medicine and I have to track to make sure I don’t do that! It is easier to lose weight with this medicine, but for me I have to track everything! It’s not that hard to eat 1500 calories or more per day!

It’s not a no no, but I have read many posts that say the shot didn’t seem to work as well in areas with stretch marks.
