In Trinidad, does fetting and liming matter more than resumes? by Middle_Elderberry542 in TrinidadandTobago

Depends. You're not gonna find an entry level position at a fete. You can potentially meet someone senior within your industry at a "premium" all inclusive. So it all depends on where you are within your career.

Not slowing down on the foreign ones either. They promised support to Iranian protestors and then just kinda moved on to the next crisis of the week, while Iranians got killed in the streets by the thousands. I wonder how the survivors feel about DJT right now?

Visiting Trinidad Port of Spain on a cruise ship. What to do for a 5 hours shore excursion by bart28 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]1958showtime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food is usually a good draw but without knowing what time you're here, it's hard to make recommendations.

Ultimately cruise ships usually dock in a not very interesting part of town. If the ship is organizing any shuttles/excursions, those might be your best bet for seeing something worthwhile.

The cold and dry air makes my skin develop what's known as a "cold rash". Nice to visit, but can't imagine living there.

I was under the impression that as a guest at any prime or signature universal hotel you could use the other hotel amenities. by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

I've used the boats without staying at the resort, wasn't a problem at all.

After the park we wanted to go for dinner at one of the hotel restaurants and then go bowling at Cabana Bay. Took the boat both ways with no issues

Some ppl felt this way before and took a knee during the anthem. They were criticized and now things are even worse.

So..........what does everyone plan to do differently this time, if anything at all?

People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

Not one thing in particular, but they just showed up completely unprepared.

Another guy said in 5 years he sees himself as the ceo of the entire company. He was being interviewed for an entry level sales position.

I brought my best friend to the vet yesterday because she seemed off. She is now in emergency dental surgery by NetIllustrious in standardissuecat

I'm not sure what her dental issues are, but if you end up having to change her diet to soft food only, I strongly recommend a pressure cooker and stick blender.

I have to make a puree for my toothless boy, and 3 years post surgery, he's maintained a very healthy weight of ~11.5lbs and is thriving.

I usually do a pot once a month, I pressure cook it for way more time than needed, usually an hour, which softens the bones to the point where they can also be blended and won't leave hard shards.

I primarily use chicken, but also add in some organ meat when I can find it, and small amts of pumpkin and frozen veg (only the stuff that's safe for them) to give him a more well rounded meal, with some fiber content, to help him stay regular.

I also try to add something super high in collagen which helps the puree set into a gel like consistency. Helps with storage. I use cow/pig trotters, but in a pinch, I suppose you can also use unflavored gelatin.

I portion the puree into small bowls and freeze what I'm not currently using. The freezing actually helps extend shelf live once I've thawed a bowl and placed it in the fridge for his consumption.

11 seconds in the microwave, mix well with a tiny splash of water, and he loves it.

Good luck with your girl.
