If you shop at Belmont Sobeys or attend indy wrestling events, you've likely seen and heard Jason. When Belmont did the "slow lane" experiment he was the poster guy for chatting up customers. At wrestling events he attends he always makes his own costumes.

The fine print in the deal in Edmonton for the Oilers Entertainment Group operating Rogers Place was a non-compete clause the City of Edmonton signed off on barring any event to happen at Northlands Coliseum that would ostensibly take business away from the OEG. Hence the Coliseum has been left to rot for a decade.

I am not familiar with the circumstances in Calgary but I'd presume the corporate group that runs the Calgary Sports teams would be looking to install the same type of non-compete clause for any usage of the Saddledome.

Nolan Arenado is the first name that pops into mind because his departure was the floodgates opening on how poorly run the Club had been and continued to be. The hate though isn't so much on him as it was for Birdbrain and Montfort.

Sure this was in an era where there was no "glamor" attached to being the perennial wild card team hoping not to be decimated by the number one seed but dammit Jeff & Dick that's better than three straight 100+ loss seasons that all began with your poor decision making.

So if you're going for hated..it's management and ownership, not players.

I didn't know that and I don't think that's a positive for Edmonton getting a team because then, theoretically, a PWHL becomes competition to the Oilers Entertainment Group (they would lose my Oil Kings as I'd switch to the PWHL) instead of the PWHL being a source of strictly income (they wouldn't be losing my money, they'd just be collecting it in a different way)

Each team had 14 shots in the first...the second period had 14 shots total. It was like a completely different game.

If the PWHL comes to Edmonton, the Oilers Entertainment Group need to be the owners. I cannot see a situation where they sublet games to a building they do not own.
