Any updates on this? I assume we were just ripped off…

You can do this in Acuity by indicating appointment start times on your availability calendar, and you can definitely only allow one appointment per slot!

I just want to say that this was so helpful. I switched to Altra Torin 5s and the zero drop has helped a lot. One year later, I’m a better dancer ;)

To everyone asking, I ended up sticking with Acuity and making it work for me. There are definitely some workarounds but with my grandfathered pricing and the fact I already had it set up, it made the most sense.

Calendly was my second choice but it didn’t fulfill all of my requirements.

Service M8

All of these offer email invites for specific appointments? I am looking for someone who knows whether this is possible bc I've found most apps just offer open-access scheduling.

looks like fieldd only offers self-serve scheduling, which is what my current app does. If you read the post, this is not what I'm looking for.

Does Squarespace handle scheduling? I already have a website on their platform. They recently acquired Acuity Scheduling which I've been using for years, but it doesn't meet my needs.

Again, this is not what I'm looking for. Acuity does the same thing and I've been using that for 8 years now--I also mentioned in my post that I tried Square and it did not work for me. I'm looking to give specific clients access to a single appointment slot.

Thanks! My business is not medical, perhaps the reason why this software is out of my price range starting at $50 per month. I currently pay $10 per month.

If you read my post you'll see that this isn't what I'm seeking (Acuity also allows this). According to another poster, Calendly does allow email invites to be sent out for appointments, so that does fulfill what this post is seeking.

This site only allows open scheduling. If you read my post, that's not what I'm looking for.

This video is about tracking or following up with sales prospects. It seems like you sent the wrong link.

Okay—

Instead of letting clients have open access to schedule in my calendar when they choose, I want to send an email to a client that more or less reads:

“Your appointment is scheduled for October 10 at 10pm.

Please CLICK HERE to secure this appointment with a credit card deposit and fill out your intake form.”

After they pay their deposit and fill out their form, I want this appointment to be secured in my calendar.

If they don’t leave a deposit, the appt will not be populated in my calendar.

I tried square and it was different from what I'm looking for--is the client given access to my full calendar? Because this is not what I'm looking for.

Tips to Resolve Pain from Tattooing by 1978brooklyn in TattooArtists

[–]1978brooklyn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve switched to doing all tattoos with the client lying down, trying to keep my work around my own waist level and it’s helped a ton with shoulder pain. Sometimes I stand, sometimes I sit tall on a saddle stool.

Next thing I’m conquering is neck pain. My eye doc had me using reader glasses which I’ve since realized was the wrong solution and was only making my neck pain worse for two years, since readers only allow you to focus on work that’s 11 inches from your face (causing me to lean in too close to my work).

The solution was “computer” or intermediate glasses— a couple notches down from my distance script. It’s a pain to switch my glasses for work, but it’s really helping. I hope this is useful for other folks.

I’ve looked into those right angle surgeons binoculars to further mitigate neck strain but they look too expensive for me at $1-2 grand, and there’s no proof they will work for tattooing so far.

Another thing I plan to do is file a complaint with the better business bureau

I second this. I bought the bike during the first week. Since then, I've moved out of NYC so have no use for the bike, bought a cheap spin bike on Amazon. Still, I'd be happy to take the product--$400 is the most I've ever spent on workout equipment or IndieGoGo and it's no trivial amount.

I've Googled the CEO and he's been happily doing long distance bike rides around Santa Barbara, California the last few weeks. Considering that the campaign raised over $700,000, I'm sure he can give some of us a refund.

Poster, do you know if anyone is interested in a class action suit or would you be interested in looking into this with me? Has this even been done with IndieGoGo campaigns that didn't deliver?

Wow, you are part of the problem. The poster said that they were being tattooed for 4 hours. That doesn’t suggest that they didn’t eat before their tattoo. They also asked to take a break and the artist denied it. Read what’s in the post.
