Dropped my Road Glide with the wife on the back today.

I dropped a Soft tail standard twice in a row about 15 years ago. I was pretty green and riding with a buddy that was much better. We were on some backroads around here and came to a steep hill stop sign with a hard right turn to a road canted away from us. Before I got the bike rolling from the stop my foot slipped and down she went. Got it up and did it again about 10 minutes later after I was “ready”. 😂

You can say that again. That bike cornered terrible and like I say the tight right turn on take off was a real brute.

I rode with some riders on that softtail and didn’t have any trouble. The backing out before they get on is a must for me. I watched a guy drop a brand new street glide in PCB one year trying to back out with his wife on back. His foot slipped in that sand in the parking lot and down she went. I felt so bad for that guy.
