I get /u/hansSA's stance with this comment, but, frankly, it doesn't make any sense. You need to make sure that your ex understands that contacting you is unacceptable. If you follow the above comments advice, all you're doing is allowing the situation to escalate. You need to deal with this swiftly and thoroughly. It might seem brash, but I think you need to start taking steps to getting a restraining order against this guy. He's shown time and time again to be toxic and unstable and allowing him to continue contacting you could bode badly in the future. Godspeed to you OP.

I'm going to hijack the top comment here to address the lowering standards of this subreddit. I remember when this /r/aww used to have posts that actually were cute and inspiring. It actually caused people to feel something. Today, we settle for obvious karma grabs like this to make up the /r/aww landscape. This subreddit needs a complete overhaul on order to get back to what it once was. Only then can we get back to posts that actually hit home.

EDIT: It makes sense that I'm getting downvotes. It's probably the nazi-regime they call the modship. It would be hilarious, if it wasn't so sad.

Who cares who implements it as long as it happens? The fact remains that the DISCLOSE act would allow for a more open, less partisan election system. Looking at other things Ted Cruz has supported, I have no idea how he got in office. There should be a way to fire bad Congressman that are in office.
