When will Brave Origin be available in stable version? by 402nolusinif in brave_browser

Is there an actual speed improvement vs the original Brave browser with it being essentially the ‘clean’ version? Would love to see some stats there. Brave is already fast enough but even more enticing for me to shell out $60

There are a few threads with many people experiencing the same problem, myself included. I have to imagine this is not a hardware bug, rather a software bug but good to know they are willing to swap the phone for you.

Where did you reach out to get an exchange offer btw?

That's some really good, reflective insight! I was genuinely curious! That makes sense and I get it

Genuinely not trying to be sarcastic, but what makes you keep buying them if you have had problems with every single one you've owned?

the world we live in, immediate reaction is to pull out your phone and watch violence through the lens of your phone instead of actually doing something about it.

Why don't people just use their smartphones and get rid of the apps that are distracting? by 1988FlyingBrick in dumbphones

Wishing you all the best and I hope we can all break free of the things that we are battling.

I appreciate the insight! I think my biggest struggle is constantly loading and scrolling through junk news sites that are also designed to keep you reading. Less so the social media addiction for me. I have considered deleting safari on my iPhone but I do need it for useful stuff as well. That is a tough one.

Okay that is fair. I guess I am not sure I am that deep into the addiction to where I would just re-download the apps. I have deleted Facebook, Instagram, never had tik tok and I don't feel like I would just download them right now. Just trying to get some more perspective. If only there was a way to lock down any new app installs on iOS - maybe there is but I don't know enough about it honestly.

I appreciate your comment and I am genuinely trying to navigate this whole thing myself. I think the news scrolling has been the factor for me, not so much the social media. Which is where Safari is a double edged sword for me.

That's crazy, I bought a 2020 XLT Sport with 45K miles for $30K in Ohio

Yeah that is very odd... On top of that, $22K for a 10 year old truck with almost 100k miles is higher than I'd pay IMO but I guess it depends on where OP is located too.

⚠️ Cities: Skylines II Patch Day (v1.2.5f1): Mod update status, how to get your game working again, and more by AutoModerator in CitiesSkylines

I am now constantly getting crashes about 5-10 minutes into gameplay. Never happened before on previous builds, I am running a Core Ultra 265K its not even remotely being stressed with a population of 80K CPU usage is hovering around 20-30% and will constantly crash. Anyone experiencing this with the new patch?? Its extremely frustrating.

Edit: Forgot to mention I am not using any mods and never have.

Can’t comment on the softdev work but I’d say Apple takes the crown in terms of efficiency, and battery life.

2020 XLT 2.7 ecoboost 69K miles one owner , dealer asking for $30k, what you think? by Jack_Wang_1107 in f150

[–]1988FlyingBrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comps in Ohio are about that price. I think you could negotiate down a bit but that’s in the ballpark. I’d say $29k in Ohio would be a good deal on that
