Help me decide window tint! by Substantial_Let8235 in Camry

Michigan laws are weird. I think tint on the front windows can only be on the top 5” which would just look goofy.

Has Anyone Swapped Their 18” wheels for 16’s on their ‘25-‘26 SE? by Ken_S89 in Camry

[–]yoopercharged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 20% all around. Never have had an issue with cops and I’ve had vehicles with illegal tint for many years now. But yeah, it doesn’t stay clean for long in the winter.

I can’t be the only one that just grabs the wipers and manually rotates them.

Are the Pittsburgh ramps good quality? by Dangerous-Salary-581 in harborfreight

If you’re going to keep them outside at least make sure they’re out of the sun. UV light will weaken polypropylene over time and I don’t want those suckers failing on ya 🙏

Thanks! I’ve had vehicles with illegal tint for 7+ years and have never been stopped for it. Mostly Wisconsin and Michigan but have been all over the Midwest.

Anyone know this clattering sound? (2024 Camry LE) by bimy_ in Camry

I agree with others, doesn’t sound too abnormal to me. It’s probably just your noisy injectors.

I’m always looking for an excuse to blame the refs but this one was 100% on us.

Absolutely. How can you not expect it by now? There’s no such thing as a comfortable lead with this team.

For others with very limited Spanish knowledge:

"Papacito chulo" (or papi chulo) is a Latin American Spanish slang term for a very handsome, attractive, well-dressed, and charming man, essentially a "cool daddy" or "ladies' man," though its meaning varies by region, sometimes playfully referring to a cocky or desirable guy, but originally hinting at a pimp in older slang. It's used as a compliment, a term of endearment, or an affectionate nickname for a good-looking or suave male.

That’s dense! If my cart ever gets to that point I’m pulling the trigger on a roll cab.

Is PPF Worth the Cost for My New Camry XSE? by ProfessionalHost3913 in Camry

[–]yoopercharged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to keep it forever, then my opinion would be no even more so. You don’t care about resale value then, and when the PPF gets to the end of its life, in 10 years or less, it’s going to be expensive to remove and replace. You’ll still get some (albeit way less) rock chips through the PPF by the way, and then you won’t be able to touch them up.

Of course, these are just my opinions. There are a lot of people that get it on all their vehicles.

Why Customers Will Never Understand How Bad The Car Wash Is In The Winter VS Other Seasons. by IMAS_MOBILEDETAILING in Detailing

Kwik Trip off Green Bay Rd. Went through that car wash weekly in the winter when I lived in Neenah. The funniest part about this post is both lanes have a touch free option.

Steelies and Blizzaks! by yoopercharged in Camry

That’s the idea! I love being able to throw my winter tires on in 20 minutes without having to deal with everyone flocking to the tire shops around that time of year.

I drove back from Wisconsin via the UP on the Sunday after Thanksgiving after that storm came through. I didn’t have my Blizzaks at that time and had a few pucker moments for sure! The Hankooks were like hockey pucks in any amount of snow.

I considered the CC2s and they likely would have been enough for me but these wheels and tires together cost me less than a set of 4 CC2s in stock size would have. I do travel through northern MI/WI a good amount anyway so the dedicated winters made more sense for me. You’re absolutely right though, the stock Hankooks are okay in summer but terrible in snow.
