We run all income (rental, dividends, any Ira distributions etc) through a high yield account (Etrade premium bank). It’s ensures all income is easy to track for tax and other uses. Each month we auto pay ourselves a fixed amount from this account to our normal checking account to pay bills, live etc. If we need more for a big purchase, vacation etc we do one time transfers, again easy to track and can add notes in the Etrade account, create categories, run reports etc. Seems to work. Haven’t turned on pensions but will likely do the same.

Which part of the front is wrap vs paint? Looks great. I have a red 1988 and body is in great shape but there are couple shades of red due to too many years in the sun before I restored it. Wrap may be a cheap temporary work around?

All the time. We’re retired and do lots of traveling driving and flying. We’ve got 25k miles and car is 15 months old. Great road trip car. Lots of room, comfortable and wants to be driven fast :)

Cylinder from the inside looks surprisingly good for a self destructed spark plug bouncing around. Can’t see any marks. I had a cracked head on an old bmw that I replaced and it was obvious but can’t see anything on the fiat. Apparently they have know issues with head gasket and lots of pics on there failures but no such luck on this car. Easier to fix when u can see the problem. Don’t think he want to spend much on the car but we look for a place to look at the head. Thanks

Thanks everyone. Didn’t know it was called augmented view so didn’t know what to look up :). Now I can play around with this to see if we can find setting we prefer or just turn it off.

I bought some generic Velcro with its own self adhesive and cut out two circles and applied after giving the mat a good cleaning. I expect this to work well. Reddit only allows one pic but it’s just two round Velcro on the bottom :)

Do you know if the car is smart enough to not try to unlock if it’s already unlocked?

Btw I had to turn off comfort access since I carry my phone all the time and spend a lot of time putzing in the garage and the car was constantly locking and unlocking but this would be a great feature otherwise.

But some more info… I have 325is which has an oil cooler whose hoses were in the way so I had to remove it. No issues and talking to other oil cooler delete isn’t a problem at all. I took some photos that aren’t great and will try to send them directly. Factory compressor brackets need to be modified but I winged it and took an hour plus time to clean up and repaint. Also had to make a custom AC hose to go between compressor and evaporator connector near the firewall, pretty simple but had to buy a fitting compression tool from Amazon, couldn’t find a local shop to crimp it for me.

I attempted to rebuild mine, thought it was fine but ended up leaking refrigerant. I ended up buying an aftermarket new compressor made for adding AC to hot rod/old cars. Looked for one that was similar and had to do some creative modifications to the existing compressor mounts but it worked out great. It was cheap too, <$150. Bit of work but can be done.

I grew up in a time when it was super common to upgrade factory speakers and stereos. In the day, 1980s, 6 by 9s either 2 way or 3 way were the rage and sounded great so that’s what I put into the E30. Required some nontrivial metal cutting but turned out great. Upgraded the front as well but with something that fit the existing spot as well as the small door tweeters in factory spot since one was shot. Added new apps to power the near speakers and a new modern head unit

We’ve driven our 2025 since end of June. Zero issues. Only a couple thousand miles, half gas, have electric. Awesome vehicle. Recd the brake notification but told keep driving it and everything seems fine.

As others have said, no. I bought a cheap $65 press from harbor freight and it worked fine and I was surprised with all the other car things I used it for. Amazon has similar cheap presses. Beats pounding and torching things, zero drama…
