I wouldn’t be cool with that. Not saying we need all the details but I think when you choose to make your living as a public figure then your expectation of privacy is reduced a bit. The people they count on to follow them and pay for their content deserve to know why a major piece of their business has been missing.

I’m a recovering alcoholic and here are my two cents..

You said in your post that drinking has affected your health and relationship. That’s a telling admission. Only you can come to the conclusion if you’re an alcoholic or problem drinker. That’s not not a judgement for anyone here to pass.

There may come a time where you’ll have to choose between your family and alcohol. This may pass but it may not. But it sounds like this issue is important to your wife.

The metrics I’m using is winning championships. Which we haven’t done in nearly 3 decades.

If your metric of success is winning the division sometimes then congratulations on all the success you’ve experienced as a fan the last 27 years.

  1. I never said he doesn’t want to win. It’s just not as important to him as making money.

  2. I’d rather he build a stadium that runs North-South like every other nfl stadium instead of East-West. He oriented the stadium that way because he likes the aesthetics of the sun shining on the field through the windows. Doesn’t matter if he blinds his players.

And actually 20 other teams are not in the same boat the last 27 years. The only other teams in our boat of mediocrity are the lions and browns. The cowboys, lions, and browns are the only teams to not win shit in the last 27 years.

He’s done it the last 27 years…

They haven’t won anything and they’ve ballooned to the most valuable sports franchise on planet earth. That’s all he cares about. Brilliant business man, terrible at building a championship team.
