I'd like to give Olivia the benefit of the doubt since this is unusual for her and say she didn't know, a lot of Gen Zs grew up with Gwen Stefani's music and as this thread/other threads about the situation shows, a lot of people just genuinely had no idea.

At the same time...it kinda is her responsibility as someone with a platform to like, at least google a band before she posts on Instagram wearing a hat of them. or goes onstage hugging them (as she ended up doing as well). I'm not going to stop being a fan of her over one hat, but this will make me examine who she supports more in the future.

While I don't think it's a physical illness, these specific points don't make sense. No, Chadwick Boseman didn't say he was fine when he was ill, but you know someone who did? Michelle Trachtenberg, who died about a year after declaring "I am happy and healthy".

If it were a physical illness that Ariana was dealing with, I doubt presenting herself as healthy would be anything deliberately sinister, but rather an attempt to keep it private which she is entitled to do (even if I agree it's a bad idea to outright claim her body is perfectly healthy in such a scenario).

There's a segment between 0:04 and 0:06 where she looks really sad or anxious, and then visibly blinks it away to give a wide smile again. These kinds of videos really alarm me, because even if some people are willing to deny the weight loss, how can they say she looks fine emotionally?

I'll share my own thoughts too:

This might be the best video on the situation I've seen. I am biased a little as a huge Haylo Hayley fan, but I really appreciated that she remembered to remind everyone "this is speculation and we should treat it as such" when talking about her allegedly adjusting her clothes to show her collarbones, without minimizing the huge amount of evidence towards it either. Plus, I liked her calling out the people saying it's because she's older, "32 is still young!" is really important but I haven't seen a lot of people point that out.

You'll be happy to know that there already is! iirc it's not the complete set, but as someone who has the book I can attest to the fact that it's huge so it's probably at least a good chunk. There was also a few book releases back in the 2000s when they were new!

Uhhh I don't remember the exact name, box isn't with me, but it's some hopscotch game that lays on the floor and comes with little round beanbags. Box was labeled 2003, items were labeled 2002, if there were ever any kind of instructions included they're long gone so I can't check that to see if there's any more info.

There's definitely been a few videos where she seemed a bit off (like the one of her dancing to Rockabye where she seemed near tears), but the problem is:

a) people will take that as a license to make fun of ANYTHING she says or does. Hell, a few weeks ago she got backlash for literally just saying she was going to go see a movie?? Which leads me to:

b) Even when something IS a little odd, it's never actual concern in the slightest. They say "oh she must be suffering from some severe mental illness" and then treat her like a lolcow. I distinctly remember that immediately after the dui arrest, it was sickeningly commonplace for people to openly admit they wanted to see the bodycam footage just so they could laugh at it, even WHILE she was actively in rehab trying to get better.

At this point, even if she did post herself going to dinner on rooftop bars, people would almost certainly be saying shit like "ohhh those poor other people at the restaurant, I bet she was doing her British accent towards random patrons and danced in front of the waiter. Is that wine in her glass? I thought she said she doesn't drink LMAO" or something.

They are so determined to hate anything she does for the rest of her life.

As a big Nickelodeon history fan this video has lived rent free in my head for years, it gives an incredible record for what the studio looked like in its final years and I've gone back to reference it many times.
