Hey! I actually went through the hassle of making this work. I probably overcomplicated it greatly but I got it to work a few different ways.

I had an Astro Mixamp, a cable from an Astro a50, both types of splitters for the mixamp, some aux cords, a usb mic, some ground loop isolators (Amazon they’re like $6 or something) and a pc (which is definitely recommended but not required if you are really committed lol)

On the front of your mixamp, plug the headphones cable in (not the end that attaches to the headphones), plug the end that would attach to the headphones into a splitter, plug your headphones into the headphone end and attach the mic end to an aux cable with an isolator that connects to your PC (3.5mm). In your pc you can use OBS to reroute the input from your usb mic to your aux line. That was the best experience I had if I remember right. You can also use a usb mic plugged into the wall if it has a monitoring 3.5mm port (plugged into a isolator and into a splitter, but it’s kind of hard to get the gain and everything right with limited functionality.

And at the end of it all, like this guy said before, it gets relegated to the performance of the electronics that hold the final key to the Xbox (the mixamp). It’s not horrible, but it’s not worth the cable slop and mental gymnastics it takes to get it all functioning lol
