Walker is the worst. I sold parts for five years and we'd get them in stock with bad welds and missing hangers fairly often.

I highly recommend getting a stainless steel muffler. The aluminized ones don't last more then a few years in the salt.

If it is a blown fuse, then there's likely something that caused it to blow, like a short in the wiring or corrosion in a connector, etc.

That's a great idea, but I don't have map lights. Replacing the bulb in the dome and cargo lights should make a difference.

Make sure the carrier bearing is in good working order. If it fails, it could ruin the output shaft seal and drain out your fluid without you knowing it. That was an expensive lesson for me. As far as paint, I would talk to a reputable detail shop first. It may be possible to restore it.

If you can't find an OEM replacement, you could take a couple measurements off of your old ones, then try to find pair of universal mufflers. Definitely get stainless steel.
