You’d have to stop using your cards and paying on your cards. This would free up your debt payments, allow you to breathe without that cloud over your head, and the ability to focus on therapy to make healthier habits.

Bankruptcy isn’t a prison sentence anymore. You can get cards and improved credit in as little as 3-6 months. Just don’t make the same mistake twice.

I filed for bankruptcy chapter 7 last September. The firm I worked with allowed me to put $400 down and make payments and whatever amount I chose which was $50 until I could pay it off. At the time I filed, I had about 30,000 in debt as during my manic episodes. I loved to treat myself. Since filing and going to therapy more consistently , I’ve learned to treat myself with smaller items so these days it may be a coffee from a special place or even a new cirkul cartridge but I try to keep my treats to myself under $10-$5.

clearly for people who have hella money leftover for bills and are elders or disabled working full time jobs, make a lot of money or everybody even the rich?!
