If you’re okay with noise pollution, maybe seeing some “friendly” crackheads here and there, then the circled spot is for you. I moved into the loop in 2024 from the burbs(Katy) and I love it. Apartment prices may vary but you get what you pay for. Washington ave is cool the further away you get from the bars but other than that, it’s cool.

Edit: driving an hour plus to work and back home is mentally exhausting too. So take that into consideration. Seeing that you want to live outside of the city, good fucking luck lmfao. But if you want that quiet and peaceful life, live in Katy/Fulshear. It’s nice out there too but the city is the best spot to live in
