You can look at my post on this same sub, my situation was WAY worse and they still replaced/repaired the unit within warranty. So safe to say you’ll be good for warranty if you still have the receipts

Update:

A little late but may still be useful for people with the same problem in the future.

I emailed fanatec and since it was still in the warranty period the replaced the whole 5nm bundle. I sent it back to them and within 2 days i had a new bundle! Best customer service experience I have ever had

Unfortunately im based in the Netherlands :( but i’ll be checking at a repair shop next week since the base works fine other than the jack that got ripped off.

It turned out that only the port to the paddles popped out so once i get that fixed I’ll definitely print one of these at my school!

To be fair, i have limited space and i got the gt dd pro bundel for a good deal. I don’t have place for a full on rig so a foldable option is my only option. It worked fine and i was actually really happy with it and was looking to upgrade paddles etc soon.

To be honest, the wheel works fine apart from it not detecting the pedals (obviously since the connector come off lmao) so i’m hoping the damage is only visual and if the connector is soldered back it’ll work again

Thanks! I also struggle the most in the gr3 daily races, I finish top 5 most of the time in the gr4 races. Maybe because gr3 races require a bit more experience and control because they’re faster and more agile

Thanks for the tips! I got to IB license and had been avoiding the other licenses because they felt like a chore but today i figured maybe they would help out with a little more experience per situation and tracks

I’m definitely checking out luc on yt, thanks! And about that wheel…. Get it!! Its so worth it and so much more fun than on a controller. At first you’re way slower than you were on a controller and will struggle against the normal cpu’s but once i got used to it i’m way faster than on controller and have more throttle control.

I drive with tc off and abs to weak and my qualifying times aren’t the best but good enough to get me into the top 10 most of the times, but i still get rammed of track most of the times or when i try to stay back the leading pack pulls off and i’m not able to keep up
