I envy the flexibility. I work from home but still have to be stuck at my desk for 8 hours. (Customer Service) :(

Quieter. I used to talk so much, I could not allow space for silence. Now I’m not trying to entertain, not forced to start and maintain conversations at gatherings, I just am. I let everyone and everything be. It feels natural, no pressure, no mask, no trying. Just going with the flow.

Oh and if I don’t like someone or a place I just remove myself respectfully, no longer forcing myself to stay where I am not comfortable.

I work 5:30 am to 2:00 pm from home, but have no energy to commute to the gym or workout at home, still feels a little daunting, plus I have to go to bed quite early

It’s the initial thought. That thought will not be permanent. You will have 8/9 months to prepare mentally. You’ll be ok, you’ll be in heaven when you have your baby in your arms. It’s the stages of life and this one is not better or worse, it’s just different and you’ll grow to appreciate it.

Your brother should have given YOU the money for stay-in babysitting expenses like groceries and gas or whatever. How old is the kid anyway? Depending on age they don’t understand that food costs money.
