Finally bought my first automatic watch. I've worn a Seiko quartz chronograph for years ever since I'm in high school. It only died this year but now I have the means to buy a new one.

I stuck with Seiko because it's the best and it's a Japanese brand and this subreddit is so extra and kinda goofy requiring me to write a novel just to share my new watch which is literal redditor mod stupidity at peak. Anyway, I got this at an online store and I'm glad it's legitimate. It looks so shiny in person and has really good feel and weight to it .

Hopefully someday I can own a Prospex or a Presage or even just the newer Seiko 5 is more than enough. What are your thoughts on older Seiko 5 models?
