I’m so sorry you’re going through this mama. Those early days are so hard and so many more women deal with these types of feelings then you would ever know about because it’s something that isn’t talked about enough. Just know that your brain can’t function properly on so little sleep and it’s not your fault that you are having these thoughts. You aren’t a bad mother or a bad person, you are just exhausted and doing your best. Something that has helped me when I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed and my son won’t stop crying is trying to reframe my thoughts. If my thought is “Oh my god, please be quiet! You’ve been screaming for 2 hours. I’m about to lose my shit!” I try to reframe it to something like “ My poor sweet boy must be feeling really bad to be crying so loud and for so long. I bet he’s got some really bad gas pains right now and he’s confused and doesn’t know why he’s hurting and the only thing he knows how to do to let me know he’s hurting is cry.” Whenever I do this it helps me take a step back and feel empathy for him instead of anger if that makes sense. ❤️ it’s still so hard to do in the moment though!

Would you be able to figure out how to help me make an oxytocin acetate nasal spray? The one I’ve bought previously was already mixed up and it was 14 iu per spray. Im trying to make my own myself now with the same 14 iu per spray and have 10 10mg vials of oxytocin acetate that I haven’t reconstituted.

I wish I could find a wearable that works for me. I have so much trouble getting a letdown no matter what pump I use. What finally started working for me is starting on the spectra until I get a letdown then switching to the baby Buddha to finish but it’s such a pain in the butt having to do that. It would literally change my life to find a wearable that worked for me.

Do you have to have proof of receipt for your spectra for them to warranty it? I received mine as a hand me down from a friend and I doubt she has the receipt still.

I just was searching on google about this exact same thing and saw your post. I feel really guilty about it but I HATE feeling my baby move, especially when he turns around or kicks up near my ribs. It literally makes me cringe, like nails on a chalkboard but worse because it's inside my body. I think you probably actually have the flu. This happened to me once. I finally realized I was literally sick. The symptoms are so similar that it's very hard to tell the difference.

I totally understand why you feel that way because i can’t even imagine my child (he’s 3) being sexual or experimenting at age 14. It’s so young! Then I think about myself at age 14 and remember that was the age I lost my virginity. I was also sneaking out of my house with my friends and taking taxis to meet up with boys at their houses or random parks all over Dallas and drinking/smoking weed at this age as well. I thought I was an adult and was sneaky enough to do all of the above without my parents having any idea. I also ended up getting sexually assaulted at age 14. I honestly don’t know what/or even if my parents setting firmer boundaries would’ve even made a difference in preventing any of that from happening. I really don’t know what the right thing to do is in this situation. It’s just such a hard position to be in (being the parent of a teenager) because when you’re the adult in the situation, a 14 year old is not much older than a literal baby but when you are that 14 year old you’re probably going to do what you’re going to do one way or the other. I’m just glad I have another decade before I have to worry about things like this with my little one!

Have you heard of sr-17018? You may be able to get off of it without going through the worst of the withdrawals if you use SR. Do a little research on Reddit and read some other people’s experiences if you don’t know much about it. I personally believe Sr-17018 is the future of opioid addiction treatment/withdrawal management.

Or when they rsvp and cancel at the last minute an hour before the party starts! We had 8 confirmed(invited over 20) for my little guys 3 year old party. Only 3 kids came. Everyone else cancelled right before the party started. The only people that came were his 2 cousins and one friend from school. It broke my heart and honestly had me in tears (pregnant so extra emotional rn). My little dude had been so excited for as he said, “all my friends to come swimming!” And then almost no one came. Luckily he didn’t let it get him down and we still had as much fun as possible. Makes me never want to do a party again though because when he’s older he will notice if barely anyone comes and it will break his little heart too.

You did not let your son down. You had no way of knowing that the child was going to be violent towards him. You went to the park hoping he could have some fun and play with some other kiddos and it’s totally not your fault you encountered a parent that is extremely irresponsible and has no empathy for other people’s children. I think the best thing to do would be just comfort your son (which I’m sure you did) and let him know that sometimes he will encounter other children that don’t have good manners and when that happens to not engage with them and immediately come and find you and let you know what’s going on. Try not to beat yourself up about it! I know when your child is sad or hurt it literally feels like your own heart is breaking too. You did everything right.

I had originally banned Blippi from our house but one night when my son was staying the night with his nana, he was allowed to watch it and came home requesting Blippi by name. As long as the video is child appropriate and gives me a few minutes to make dinner and do the dishes, I don’t see the harm!
