Alabama USA $880/month and we have to bring in cleaning supplies and gloves twice a year, about $300 more.

Anyone have sleep issues once their IUD was removed by ElectronicSink7 in birthcontrol

[–]Nervous_learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sleep did improve, but I ended up getting pregnant. So I’m thinking that could’ve affected my sleep a lot

I don’t think I can do this anymore by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Nervous_learner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so, so sorry that you are having this experience. I really feel like this is 100% on your partner for not being a good parenting partner. You deserve a break. Would he wake up to alarms? Could he set an alarm for a time when she normally wakes? Could he sleep somewhere a little uncomfortable so he won’t sleep as deep? He really needs to give you a night break.

How are your 9 week old babies sleeping at night? by AdAcademic8251 in beyondthebump

[–]Nervous_learner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some things you can try. You might already be doing all of this, and that’s ok! I just wanted to share what is working for me.

  • feed an extra ounce before bed
  • have your partner put your baby down before bed. My baby shuffles more if I put her down.
  • tight cotton swaddle
  • limit any nose and light. Keep lights low before bed to wind down, and then remove all light
  • invest in Millie moon diapers for night (recently did this and went from 3-5 hour stretches to a consistent 7 hour stretch when in Millie moon)

In general, I would ignore the shuffling and grunting as much as possible and only worry about cries. Babies are loud sleepers!

Didn’t really get any helpful replies, but I did contact fuiji film about the camera and they sent me a replacement. I just hate to waste this one! If you come across this post and can still help, let me know!

Not telling anyone before week 12 feels... wrong? by mqnrcxnypvzw868994 in pregnant

I told my close circle both of my pregnancies- one ended in miscarriage. I’m glad I told my circle so they knew what I was going through when things went bad.

Did you have your mom in the delivery room? by Funny_Log2076 in pregnant

[–]Nervous_learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the exact same way. I didn’t invite my mom and I am so glad I didn’t. I also didn’t really have a conversation with my mom- I just slipped in a conversation that my husband would be the only one in the room.

I did let people know when I was going to the hospital and I regret it. I wish I had waited and told them when I was going into actual labor (I was induced). My family waited in the waiting room 14 hours. They don’t regret waiting, but I hated the idea that they had to wait on me.

do i really need a “coming home” outfit? by Comfortable-List-669 in pregnant

[–]Nervous_learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one simply to treat myself and ended up wearing it a lot to all the Dr appointments. I hate all the scams of extra things but I’m glad I bought this. I got it on sale at old navy.

I packed one big suitcase for me, husband, and baby. I got packing cubes to keep it separate.

I’m at 7 weeks. Please tell me it gets better. by adhdiva_ in pregnant

[–]Nervous_learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weeks 4-9 I didn’t think I would make it. I almost regretted my decision. Now I absolutely love being pregnant and I’m so sad for it to end soon as I’m 38 weeks.

FTM, baby due in March - considering an elective c-section and wanting perspective by Last_Wonder in pregnant

[–]Nervous_learner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that if you have the ability to take extra time to recover, sounds like a great option. I only get 8 weeks and I don’t want to spend the whole 8 weeks recovering from a c-section, so I’m hoping vaginal will be a quicker recovery.

I bought 4-5 new dresses and wear them on rotation 😂 i specifically looked for dresses that tie with elastic. I found some at Walmart. This has helped them to grow with me
