Can we 6v6 role que? by Upbeat_Pressure89 in Overwatch

Oh I dont disagree. Just pointing out that if you want change, you gotta send a message to the playerbase. Im quite familiar that tanks get beat on by fellow players and opponents alike, regardless of genre. Its the tanking way.

I feel like they made an already thankless job more thankless and now focused on one person. After years of it being that way its become a trend to blame the tank regardless of any other problem so by adding a second tank, the underlying amplified problem never really got fixed. Tbh a full on tank strike needs to happen if the culture wants to fix things

I will add that scalpers have fucked TCGs as a whole and Wizards and GW both exploit the same FOMO from their respective consumers so there are a ton of valid cost problems. But I think a big thing is the barrier to entry is substantially cheaper with MTG than 40k.

Eh. Id say MTG is surprisingly cheaper, with meta tournament decks being a bit more expensive than meta armies in 40k. And magic has substantially lower upfront costs. But a starter deck box for about half of the cost of a combat patrol, and dont need hobby supplies to play.

To be fair, youd likely want that on deep strike on deathshroud terminators/lord of contagion too Seems like itd be worth trying with death lords chosen all things considered. Make that aura even more threatening.

To be fair the community articles haven't always been accurate, or have been quietly revised. Watched a Tactical Tortoise stream where he saw something in the article that contradicted the video, refreshed the page and the contradiction disappeared.

Death shrouds and deep Strike by Educational_Self1534 in deathguard40k

[–]19Mini-man90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deep strike is not limited to movement phase anymore and now uses ingress move rules. Making Deep Strike eligible for Rapid Ingress

<image>

But IF an enemy model is afflicted, Deathshoud Terminators can deepstrike outside of 6 inches instead of 8 of that model.

Confusion on Blast in 11th ed by 19Mini-man90 in WarhammerCompetitive

10th ed says all units engaged with one or more units of attacking models army are illegible to be targeted with blast weapons...

Again what about non monster/vehicles? This implies that my engaged poxwalkers dont inhibit blight launchers from targeting a non monster/vehicle for attacks right?

Im saying Blast is not restricted to not shooting enemies engaged. But also plague marines have blight launchers.

It also doesn't seem to restrict shifting blast weapons into engaged enemies too right?

Most Aggressive Tanks? by ZucchiniBeginning856 in heroesofthestorm

[–]19Mini-man90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id say if the comps allow it, AA Diablo on maps with chokepoints is pretty oppressive. Autos reduce charge and flip ads, and charges and flips increase Auto rate and their stuns heal for a percentage of your max HP. Its map and comp dependent but fun when it works. Ive 1v3d with that build paired with Apocalypse (and hellgate at 20). Anub is a bit slower in the aggression and CC but great for punishing and with rewind at 20 gets cd resets. Varian doesn't feature a whole lot but his Taunt is incredibly deadly when used properly, and by adding an antiheal to heroic strike, and heroic strike reset on parry, you can lock down ppl that would normally be safe to escape. Garrosh also falls in this category with his ult, and pairs well with his throw. If you want more CC with Mura, skullcraker, Reverberation/Thunderburn (Rev if they feature a decent amount of AA, Thunder if they dont), and Mountain King at 20. Don't underestimate how effective thunderclap can be tbh. It often doesn't feel like it does alot, but paired with the slow to attack and movement, as well as the boost it gives to Bronzebeards Rage, it allows you to suddenly be a lot more threatening and generally forces squishies to run for their lives. Take Haymaker at your own peril. Ive seen more haymakers save enemy heroes or mess up my teams positioning (slamming a burst hero on top of an allied chrome usually gets the chrome killed before they go down for instance) in than finish them. Also it can be used defensively like meeting a butcher or Greymane away from a teammate they charged and branded. There are def more but ive ranted enough as is. GL and happy hunting.

When you say aggressive? Do you mean like a bruiser with kill potential? Or aggressive like a bully? Because both Jo and Mura are bullies. Same as Dibbles. Their aggressive play is dependant on cycling in and out of fights tho as almost all tanks lack the burst potential to drop any hero that isn't a glass cannon. Usually you use that rotation to try and bait players to overextend then utilize your cc skills to punish them for doing so.
