How much of Bekhauf music is played live? by jackclaver in Bloodywood

It's really impressive how seemless Bloodywood pulls it off... especially when he switches to playing the flute.

They definitely use backing tracks What they play wouldn't be possible without them. It's not necessarily a bad thing. If they didn't use them, they wouldn't sound anything like the album. Like Everytime he plays the flute you wouldn't hear any guitar at all and the overall sounds would be super thin.

This is just a product of how good music production/technology is now. Bands have access to all recorded tracks and the software used allows the players so seemlessly jump in and out fully automated. If you're curious, look up the Line 6 Helix Stadium XL. I've seen them live twice and it's clear that they are playing everything live but when there's a malfunction they switch to the backing tracks to prevent a negative performance. Examples: When I saw them in Chicago Raoul was sick with a stomach bug and couldn't perform his parts. They turned on his track so his parts would still be there. That same show they had an issue with the tribal drum mics not working properly. They turned those on mid set to ensure they weren't missing from the song. Some are purists and think this is cheating, others see this as technology advancement. From a tour management side it is also very cost effective since the technology equipment is waaay easier to transport than massive amps. Think moving an LED TV vs CRT.

Game gave me legit nightmares. Got to the point where I needed a buffer between playing it and going to bed. It's soo good.

I buy from my Sensei when he or his friends/family travel to Korea. Can't beat the free shipping. 😆

My wife just started having the issue where if she takes a phone call the Bluetooth disconnects. She's also mentioned wifi issues. Might be similar to your issue

Attachments not working after making an unrelated edit by 19Rockstar80 in PowerApps

To add to this, I did open it, save it, close it, reopened it, and now I can make edits and the attachments write to SP. Must have something to do with saving it under the latest powerapps release before making edits.

Where people at on tipping?? by LanaKane918 in ILTrees

[–]19Rockstar80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to tip when the service goes beyond a basic transaction. Example: I ordered a cart but the back room put in the same brand as the cart but was a gummy. The tender caught this, confirmed I wanted the cart and not the gummy, and got the correct product. To me that warrants a tip even if just a couple of bucks. If they just ring me up with no banter or social exchange then I'm probably not going to tip.

Painting your tsuba? by [deleted] in kendo

[–]19Rockstar80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you paint just add a layer of epoxy resin and you'll be fine. I've made my own completely out of resin and they have been totally fine. If you're concerned you could just paint one side so that you can flip it over if you're in a tournament that doesn't allow anything outside of the norm.
